Getting Around

Whether you get around by bus, cycle, car or coach, here are some details to help you.

By Bus: As an alternative why not use the excellent bus service to travel around the area. There are regular services by Stagecoach and Taw & Torridge to Barnstaple and along the coast. Why not catch the bus one way and walk back to Ilfracombe along the South West Coast Path for a wonderful day out. The Tourist Information Centre have timetables and can provide further details.

Car Parking:  NDC short stay car parks can be found at Jubilee Gardens, The Pier, Wilder Road and The Cove. There is also an Ilfracombe Town Council carpark at Ropery Road and several private car parks. There are electric recharging points in Ropery Road & Wilder Road car parks.

NDC long stay car parks can be found at Brookdale, Oxford Grove, Larkstone Lane, Marine Drive & Hillsborough
