Avoncourt Lodge

Ideal for walkers, cyclists, dog owners and those wanting to enjoy the great outdoors of North Devon, Avoncourt Lodge is on a private road, just a stone’s throw from the stunning Torrs cliff walk.  We have private parking, and spectacular views of the town and surrounding country from several rooms, especially those with balconies.  Full cooked breakfast with locally sourced produce is included for all guests

Avoncourt Lodge has 10 simple, light and airy en-suite bedrooms, mostly on the first floor.  Our ground floor room is especially useful for those travelling with dogs, as it is nearest the front door, and is also easy access and no stairs

The Southwest Coastal Path runs past the front door, with lovely walks along the cliffs towards Lee Bay.  We are 5 minutes from the Tunnels Beaches wedding venue.  The harbour, sea front, wide choice of restaurants and high street shopping are all within a 15-minute walk

With a Drying room for damp clothing, safe storage for cycles and most rooms with full length tubs, Avoncourt Lodge is a perfect destination for relaxing after a day in the open air.  We also offer a comfortable lounge library and a fully stocked ‘honesty’ bar
