Hele Corn Mill

Hele Cornmill is a 16th century working water mill just outside Ilfracombe.

Take a tour around the mill and visit the audio visual room with information film. Access to the mill and audio visual room is free.  Children can mill flour on the hand quern, complete the photo quizzes and challenges.

We have a large, undercover outside seating area and Teagarden where you can join us for a traditional Devonshire cream tea or be tempted by the cakes, baked by the miller’s wife with stoneground flour from the mill. Four times winner of Devon Life’s Best Tearoom award.

Dogs welcome on site but not in the mill itself.

Featured on many circular walks and 1 hour via the coastal path from Ilfracombe, or 10 minutes by car, and just 300m from the stunning Hele Beach.
