Ilfracombe & District Lions Club

WHO ARE THE ILFRACOMBE AND DISTRICT LIONS?

We are part of Lions International, an organisation first established in 1917 for the betterment of communities and the world. Our Club members are ordinary men and women who have been fulfilling these ideals by organising and supporting community events for over 40 years – best known are the Carnival and the Swimarathon.

For many years you will have found us at All Things Morris, Birdman and Lights Switch On. In March we hold the ‘Lions’ Den’ where local organisations bid for some of the monies we have raised.

We also have a local holiday home available for people living with disability. All of the money raised goes to local good causes and families in need.

We are always pleased to talk to potential new members that share our enthusiasm for having fun and raising money for people in need.
