All Things Morris

2024 saw14 Morris sides coming to dance – as well as from Cornwall and the wider Devon they come from much further afield not to forget our local sides, Ilfracombe Red Petticoats, Borderline Morris from Barnstaple & Bideford Phoenix. On both Saturday and Sunday there will be Morris dancing around the seafront and other areas of the town all day as well as food and craft stalls on the Seafront.

The activity starts on Saturday at 10.30am with a parade of dancers and musicians from the Pier to the Seafront. On Sunday it kicks off at 11am and there will also be our classic & vintage vehicle show ‘Morris & Friends’ all along the seafront with the presentation of prizes at 3pm. The winning Morris in 2024 was a 1937 Morris 8, Series 2 four door saloon.
